Risk disclosure

Trading carries risk. This page states plainly what can go wrong, so the decision you make is an informed one.

Last updated: 15 September 2026

This document is part of the agreement between you and the company named in the regulatory information page. Read it together with the other documents linked in the footer.

1. General warning

The value of an instrument can fall as well as rise, and past performance does not predict future results. You should not trade with money you cannot afford to lose, and you should not treat a trading account as savings.

A significant proportion of retail accounts lose money when trading leveraged products. Consider whether you understand how these products work before you open a position.

2. Leverage and margin

Leverage multiplies both gains and losses: a small adverse move in the market can wipe out the margin that supports a position. With leverage up to x200, a move of half a percent against a fully leveraged position is enough to close it.

If the margin ratio falls below the platform level, positions may be closed automatically at the prevailing price, which can be worse than the level you expected.

3. Crypto-specific risk

Crypto assets are volatile, trade around the clock and can gap sharply when liquidity thins. Some assets have concentrated ownership, which makes price moves faster and deeper than in traditional markets.

Regulatory treatment of crypto assets differs between countries and can change quickly, including in ways that affect deposits, withdrawals and the availability of an instrument.

4. Market and liquidity risk

Spreads widen around news, at market open and in thin conditions. In fast markets an order may be filled at a materially different price, and a stop order does not guarantee the level requested.

Overnight financing applies to positions held across the daily rollover and accumulates against a long-held position.

5. Technology and operational risk

Trading online depends on your device, your connection and third-party infrastructure. An outage at any point can delay or prevent an order, and we cannot be responsible for a loss caused by a failure outside our systems.

Keep your credentials private and multi-factor authentication switched on. An order placed from your account with your credentials is treated as yours.

6. No investment advice

Nothing on this site or in the platform is investment, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation to trade a particular instrument. Analysis and market commentary are general information and take no account of your circumstances.

If you are unsure whether a product suits you, take independent advice before trading.
